The Royal Route, the Old Town and the New Town:

in other words, the “must-sees” of Warsaw.

This walk will take us around the most famous churches of Warsaw. We will take a peek through the gates of Warsaw University, show you a monument full of hidden riddles, tell you about the residents of the Presidential Palace and its strange history.  You will find out  why the Adam Mickiewicz monument was unveiled in complete silence and which Warsaw writer suffered from agoraphobia. We will pass Sigmund's Column, which was once marked for interrogation by the Gestapo, and then wander through the Old Town Square, where we will tell you all about the legend of the Mermaid as we see this famous statue and symbol of Warsaw. We will then go for a tour around the most outstanding churches of the New Town. We finish the route next to the monument to the Warsaw Uprising, where we will tell you the amazing story of the evacuation of the brave resistance fighters.
